Details | The Panhandle Peninsula is a unique historical treasure that very few park visitors have explored. This remote 1,900 acre peninsula was once a thriving community that supported the Monte Parvo Plantation, the Occoneechee Farm, Rosyln Castle, and many small farms. We will work our way down the Panhandle Peninsula trail aboard the park’s wagon pulled by our trusty tractor. We will make stops along the trail to explore what remains of home sites that once flourished in the. |
